Relay NewsWest
Put NewsWest on air from your station or repeater. It's free, and we'll list you on the schedule.
If you’d like to broadcast NewsWest in your area, you can. There are no restrictions, other than that you broadcast it as supplied, without any modification. Please tell us you’re transmitting the news, so we can list you on the broadcast schedule and include you in notifications.
Getting the audio
The current episode is always at the same address on audio.vk6.net, named by its broadcast date: http://audio.vk6.net/YYYYMMDD.newswest.mp3. It is published before the Sunday broadcast. The address and file name pattern don’t change, so scheduled downloads keep working.
Broadcaster notifications
Registered broadcasters can receive an email when each new episode is published and when its show notes change.
