This statement explains what WA Amateur Radio News Inc (WAARN) publishes, what we collect about listeners and visitors, and how to ask for a correction or removal.
What we publish
NewsWest audio, show notes and, in future, transcripts are published permanently on this website, on audio.vk6.net and in our podcast feed. They can be found by search engines. Anything said on air or written in the show notes stays findable.
What we collect
- This website uses no cookies and no advertising or tracking services. If we add visitor statistics, they will be cookie-free and count visits in aggregate only.
- Downloads from audio.vk6.net are logged by our hosting provider. We keep only totals (for example, downloads per episode); raw logs, which include IP addresses, are deleted automatically after about 30 days.
- Callback and sign-up forms collect what you enter (such as your callsign, name and email). We use it only for the purpose of that form.

- Google Fonts (the typefaces on this website; your browser fetches them from Google)
- Namecheap (the vk6.net domain)
- OpenStreetMap (map tiles on the coverage map; your browser requests them directly)
